Principal of PPAS
Ken Ding, Cellist
Dear friends,

Welcome to Potomac Performing Arts Studio "PPAS".

With over a decade of teaching experience, a passion for music education and a deep commitment to my students, I have established myself as an exceptional cello instructor in the United States. Upon founding my first cello studio over a decade ago, my approach to teaching has resonated with students of all ages, resulting in a thriving learning environment that spans from beginners as young as 5 years old to college-aged students.

Through my close interaction with students, I have not only imparted my knowledge and skills, but also have inspired a love of music in my students. This has resulted in many of my students becoming accomplished musicians in their own music journey, with many has been awarded prizes in various esteemed competitions, or performing in the remarkable American youth orchestras, such as Maryland Classical Youth Orchestra (MCYO), American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (AYPO) in Maryland and Washington DC area.

Many students of mine have also had the opportunity to showcase their talents on some of the world's most renowned performance stages, including Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and the Music Center at Strathmore in Maryland. These experiences have not only been a testament to my teachings but also a source of pride for me, who takes great satisfaction in seeing students' growth and success.

With a commitment to helping students reach their full potential, I will continue to play a vital role in shaping the future of classical music in the United States. This unwavering dedication to my students and the art of music has made myself a sought-after instructor, and Potomac Performing Arts Studio will remain a hub of musical excellence and inspiration.

I look forward to meeting you soon.

Musically Yours,
Ken Ding
